One of the most common visual effect is a banner. It is mostly used at the top of a page as a headline. Sometimes it is used together with logo; a banner can be static or dynamic.

Most of the time banners are moving banners created in Flash and are used as animanion advertisements. It can be difficult to change your website completely but you can liven it up with banners put in proper places. On these banners a message that will be seen by everybody can be placed.
